GM LT1 Wiring and Pinouts

Factory GM LT1 Wiring Harness Modifications & Pinouts

 

I have documented all modifications, as well as included pinout schematics and info on the integration of the Porsche harness.
 
The wiring for the emissions components is easily left intact [if desired]. The PCM will need to be reprogrammed, and tuning programs are available
for download (TunerCats, Moates Flash and Burn, and TTS Datamaster, to name a few).
 

On the ’96-’97 OBDII, two of the four O2 sensors can be programmed out, as well as VATS (anti-theft). Emissions and VSS can also be removed.

 

This is a 5-wire hook-up at the 944 harness [ignition, battery (+), fuel pump relay, alternator, and starter]. The 944 tach, GM DLC, and fan relay are wired directly from the PCM plugs.

ARE SHOWN IN BLACK. ALL REMAINING PCM PIN CONNECTIONS (SHOWN IN GRAY) WILL REMAIN UNCHANGED. REPROGRAMMING THE

 

LT1 PCM IS REQUIRED WHEN PERFORMING THE MODIFICATIONS SHOWN. IF EMISSIONS EQUIPMENT WILL BE USED, ITEMS IN BLUE REMAIN INTACT.
